The kittens will be six weeks old tomorrow and I had a question.

When do I stop weighing them daily?

Thanks for your response, I'm going to stop weighing them now then since they have been doing great. We moved the mom and babies up into our game room so they get a lot of attention from my husband and I. All six of them sleep on him when we go in there lol.

You can of course weigh them once a week, or so, from now on.  Nice memory too!

I think I'll weigh them once a week now that you mention it. 5 of the 6 are eating soft food and some of them like the hard as well. There is one that still won't have anything to do with kitten milk replacer, soft and hard food, she is so stubborn. Our neighbor is taking that one and another sibling when they are ready to go but that's still a little ways off.

I agree about weighing once a week for the next several weeks just to make sure they're still on track.

It's  fairly normal that sometimes a kitten may be slower about wanting to start the weaning process.  I had one like that in the litter I have now.  it took him to about 7 weeks to decide to eat.   He just wanted to be a mama's boy and nurse.
