OK, so we all know from spending too much time reading online forums about cats that raw is best, canned is better and dry is worst. That's not the issue here. And this isn't about gloating over what boutique brands of food I'm feeding the lil' shoe lace shredder... But rather, is it a reasonable proposition, considering quality, cost and health, to mix wet, dry and a little warm water together for an utterly savory and hydrating meal?
If you must know I'm mixing 2/3 Evo turkey and chicken canned with 1/3 Nature's Variety Instinct grain-free chicken dry. Add a dash of hot water since the 13 oz can of wet is stored in the fridge and WAH LAH... I provide the frisky one the sensation of biting into the warm flesh of an organic prairie chicken. The reason for the dry is to make the wet last longer. And it's cheaper than 100% wet.
Anyone have a problem with this?
