The reference is from the simpsons :)

Okay so Diago and misty have been itchy since about the 8 or 9th of august I believe. They started off just itching and then licking a spot once in a while.. I had noticed it because they normally never scratch. But I thought nothing of it.. we all get itches. So It got a little worse and I worried about fleas since I have never had them on animals before. I researched -and BTW my guys are on revolution from the vet monthly (no missed doses)- signs and checked them with a flea comb and with a wet paper towel. No fleas, no eggs I could see (I also went over them by hand thoroughly) and no blood feces. The foster kittens are not itchy. but they are separate. My guys do not go outside either. I gave them their dose of rev on schedule on the 17th and a bath a few days later and neither helped (I used the shampoo I have always used on them, and conditioner and rinsed well). when misty had to visit the vet because of her not eating I had him check her too.. and no fleas.

Food wise I have changed it a bit but nothing in line with the scratching. And these days they eat separate food because now misty will only eat certain wet food and Diago eats other wet foods and dry also, all varying proteins and grain free.

The mosquitos are BAD here, and they do occasionally get in the house.. I wonder if they could have bites and they keep scratching them so they wont go away?

They scratch under their ears, but their ears look good and clean and the vet said they looked clean too, but they also scratch other places too and stop suddenly (not while playing though or eating) and lick their shoulder. No hair loss and I cant see any redness or bumps on their skin. Diago's behaviour hasn't changed and misty's did because of her not eating thing but she seams to be getting better now.

Today they were non stop itching and scratching which is what prompted me to post.. online is full of home remedies and I really don't know what route to take to help them out. I thinks its Mosquito bites that arn't having a chance to heal(so stopping them from itchy would maybe help) but I don't really know, ideas?

I know mosquito bites can itch but one or two stray mosquitoes getting into the house wouldn't cause so many bites that the cats are non-stop scratching.  It sounds more like an allergy.  Any changes to carpets, linens, etc.?

They could also be having a reaction to the Revolution itself - if they've been on it awhile, they may be becoming sensitive to one or more of the ingredients.  That's all I can think of ...

They have been on rev almost a year. We have no carpet and no changes to anything recently. I could try washing their bedding in just water and see if it helps though. I usually use a small amount of tide.
