We survived our week away with the kittens!!  They did grow in a week!  We did allow them to be with the dogs.  The dogs were in the kitchen behind a baby gate, while the kittens could run in and out of it.  I have a feeling the kittens kicked my lab out of her bed so they could sleep in it  LOL  She's such a pushover!

Anyway, the pet sitter could unfortunately only do 3 feedings but the kittens did well.  I had another neighborhood teen stopping by once a day to just sit and play with them for half an hour or so.  I'm told they were super active the whole time we were away, so I know they weren't starving.

As always, they are super active and run around like crazy cats, but also give their share of cuddles.  We're just happy they hadn't turned semi feral from lack of human contact  for a week LOL

We're upping them back to 4 meals a day. They are currently on chicken and rabbit. But each meal, they are just ravenous!  I don't know if they are like fish where they will eat until the throw up.  Is it normal for them to just literally gulp down their meat in seconds???  We give each their own complete chunk of around 1oz/meal.  They do well with this size, no throwups (we tried to give 1.5oz, but they threw it up). but it just doesn't seem like they're even chewing it.  But I feel like as kittens, they just want to eat eat eat.  Should I do 5 meals then??  Even after they've eaten, they want some more.  Normal?

Yes, pretty much give them as much food as they will eat. If they are throwing up from eating too much in one sitting, add in a 5th feeding.
