Hi

I do not have any cats in my family yet but I have been here for a while reading the forums.. doing some research since I have never had a cat before. I hope to soon though I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I am 18 years old and have 3 furkids... I know they are not cats but I hope its ok that I introduce my babies anyway

My brother-in-law's sister has a ferret and some kitties, actually 9 kitties. They seem to get along pretty well. I think the kitties are more afraid of the ferret than the other way around. I hope you find the info you need about making a decision about a kitty.

Please consider adopting one from your local animal shelter since there are so many homeless kitties that need a good home. They have so much love to give.

Welcome to you and your furkids! Ferrets are such adorable creatures. Yours are no exception. I have never had one, but the more I encounter them the more I'm developing a soft spot for them. Hope you find the information you need to make a decision about a kitty. Good advice above about adopting one from a shelter, or some other rescue situation. Lord knows, there are enough kitties looking for homes!!

Along with my cats, I also have 3 ferts. I had 4, but my little Sunshine died suddenly back in August. She was my first ferret and is missed dearly. Here is a pic of all of them together. I cheated. I tossed them all on the chair and took a picture as quickly as possible! I have the hardest time taking their picture as the only time they are still is when they are sleeping.

I know you will enjoy it here as everyone is soooo friendly.

Welcome to the site, your ferrets are adorable. I used to see people walking their ferrets on a harness and leash oh what a site. Yet they were constantly surrounded by people, getting asked all sorts of questions.

I think ferrets are so cute, but I am afraid of them biting and scratching. I 've only really seen them in the pet stores though. Welcome to TCS!
