Far as I can tell, my 6-month-old, Savannah, has been eating poorly for about a week now. I see her eat, but it's very sporadic; I don't notice much of a change in the food in her bowl (which is measured out twice daily).
Prior to this issue, people suggested I put her food in a box (preventing our male access); but she eats our male's food, too (when she eats), and will continue to do so.
I can't lock myself into a room with her for hours to watch her eat (or to allow her her own private dining time). And I can't lock her in a room by herself to allow her to eat because she scratches at the carpeting under doors to "escape".
I know that she's eaten the fur (and skin) off a number of toy mice and am wondering if she might be experiencing a blockage of some sort. I'd hate to jump the gun, though, and rack up a lot of unnecessary debt, if there's just something that I could be doing differently.
Thanks,
Jenk
