Several months ago, I found a strange kitty, not fully grown, in my back yard. I could see that it had not eaten for a while, so I brought it in the house and thought I would get it back to health. Well, my lady kitty, Daisy, hissed and swiped at it, but thought they just needed time to get aquainted. I name the homeless kitty, Teaky. Come to find out, she was pregnant. She had six babies on 11 August, a Sunday night. Since Daisy was mean to her, Teaky now thinks Daisy is a threat to her babies and I have to shut Daisy up in a room when Teaky is loose in the house or Teaky goes in for the KILL. Ater one of those attacks, Daisy is afraid to come out from under my bed. Daisy is mad at me for bringing Teaky in the house and is now urinating on the carpet beside my bed. I have never had that problem from her before. It is really stressful for all of us. I need to find a home for Teaky and the babies. I have been keeping Teaky and the babies in a small bedroom while I am at work. When I come home, I have to put Daisy outside while Teaky is out of the room until I put her back in the bedroom. I really hate to keep her shut in the bedroom so much. What can I do?

Teaky may not be upset about being in the room with her babies.  She's more worried about Daisy, who she sees as a threat, as you've noted.  I would not have a problem with keeping her in the room, with her babies, as long as she's using the litter box and eating well.

Daisy should have the run of the house more often, as she is the resident cat.  If you are going to keep Teaky or any of the kittens, wait until the kittens are weaned and Teaky is fixed to begin introductions.  Then, start from scratch and take your time.

The kittens will only be there until they are 10-12 weeks old (12 is best), so it is not a long time.  I wouldn't let Teaky out, either, as she will probably come back pregnant.

Thank you for helping them!

Thanks so much. It's encouraging to hear another take on the situation. I also have an older cat named Boo Boo. He is part tiger and white. My son brought him home when he was 5 weeks old when my son was 19. My son is turning 36 in September. Boo is not well, he is very thin but eats and gets around. So him and Daisy is my pet family. I'll have to post some pictures of them. Thanks for your email. :)
