So, for all of you who work at home, do your animals "help" you while you work?

I have been putting together all these mailers and our one cat Mr. Bobbins loves to help. He likes to try to eat the stamps and this Monday got into the box with the paper clips and tried to eat them. That was a nice $60 x-ray bill, but all was okay. He has pika obviously.

This is the adorableness that I had beside me yesterday. Lady Osha crashed out. She loves to sit on my lap while I am working. At night we play video games together and she will to the computer to sit with me during the pc game.

I occasionally work from home and Mouse doesn't even pretend to help. He does his best to chew any paper work I have out, walks over the laptop keyboard, lies on the floor all streeetchy and showing off his belly to be extra cute, then if he still doesn't get attention he starts to chew my arm....
Amazingly I get a lot done when I'm at home and struggle more in the office.
I do end up going to some meetings with pretty embarrassing / chewed up paperwork though.

Too cute!!  Love the picture of Ozzy's chin on the computer!

I'm a stay-at-home-mom so this is my work.  It's safe to say that my girls do NOT help!  Unless my 3 year old is really worked up and then Noodles will get up and give her the "look" that lets her know she's gonna get a swat!
Don't worry; she's only once left a scratch on DD (unrelated oops) and DD has a healthy respect for her now.

Here's Rico as a kitten helping me with the filing.  In our house, pretty much the only off-limits place is the kitchen counters, so they managed to get involved in everything we're doing.  You should see Rico helping hubby read the newspaper in the mornings!   :-)

I'm thinking the paper reading is probably about as messy as Mouse helping me to make the beds..... LOL (usually ends up with Mouse  'time out'.....)

Oh, yeah, we've got that going on, too.  Ozzy follows me everywhere, so whatever I'm doing, he wants to help with, too.  Here he is last Sunday afternoon as we were trying to change the sheets on the bed.  But hubby and I decided instead of giving him a time out, we'd give ourselves one.  So we left him there and went out on the patio for a beer break!
NICE ONE!

New helpers!  Our newbies are starting to get comfortable in different parts of the house.  Molly and Jake aren't exactly helping but they want to "support" me while I work at the computer....
