Well hello there,
I'm so Anxious. My cat named Tuna has been pregnant for 63 days (counting today).
I know she can go into labour anytime now but I'm just wondering what should I expect and what signs or symptoms should I look for. Yesterday she had been very affectionate with everyone in my house which is really weird and she's been eating like every 20 minutes, also she just came into my room and she is purring really loud and her nose sounds stuffy. What should I do? OMG I'm so excited but I'm so nervous and worried. Please help, Thanks.:wavey:

Hi littleturtle.   Yes you're right,  she could have them anytime in the next several days.

I'll give you some links  to read to help prepare.     Do you have a  nest / nursery set up for her already?     If not,  I would go ahead and do that. You want a room that is quiet without a lot of activity,  and one that you can close the door to keep out other pets, small kids etc.     and you want the nest to be not in bright light.   Use a box,  dog cage,  laundry basket or something that has room for her to lie down and stretch out comfortably plus room for  a bunch of kittens.    put some old fleece or even layers of newspaper in it .

First, here's an article on this site about cat pregnancy and birth  http://www.thecatsite.com/a/pregnancy-and-delivery-in-cats

& here are a couple more.

A short article on normal cat birth  http://www.icatcare.org/advice-centre/cat-care/normal-cat-birth

A more detailed article about  cats giving birth ,  what is normal, what is not normal/ possible problems,   when to help,  and when to see a vet.   http://www.icatcare.org/advice-centre/cat-care/cat-birth-–-when-wait-and-when-worry

Oh and here is one more that's in kind of outline form and easy to look at

http://www.cat-world.com.au/parturition-birth-in-cats

Those have a lot of info to get you prepared.

Normally cats don't really have trouble ,  but it is best to be prepared by having a vet on call, or knowing the nearest 24 hour emergency vet and how to get there,  have their phone number handy.
