Hello,
I have three cats. Biscuit is a 9 year old fat black and white male (His real name is SeaBiscuit) and he was born with one toe on one foot and two toes on the the other. Skittles is a grey tabby and is about 8 years old (Skitty) and he is a super sweet cat. I had a 9 year old named Mama Kitty who was my only indoor/outdoor cat (the others are indoor only) that I had for 8 years, she never left the yard but she came up missing about 6 weeks ago - I was and am still so devastated and continue to hope that she will return. She showed up as a pregnant stray and I kept her and had her spayed (sweetest cat ever). I miss Mama Kitty dearly. I have a new kitten that is named Pixie who is about 5 weeks old, she is a black kitten. I thought we were getting a six week old kitten but the lady sold me a 3-4 week only kitten (confirmed by the vet) and she is doing very well (sleeping in a blanket on my lap right now).
I also have two dogs. Moses is a 7 year old Chihuahua and he is a blue color, he is a handful and never really potty trained - sigh. I also have another dog who is half Chihuahua and half something else (he was a stray) named Cashew - he is a smart dog, who rings a bell when he needs to go outside to potty.
We also are keeping my husband's ex's cat with us as she moved out of state and my step-kids did not want to give her up so we said we would keep her until their Mom found a place of her own. Her name is River and she is almost all grey with some light stripes. She does NOT like other cats but strangely she likes dogs.
I hope to learn more on this website. I have had cats my entire life. I am a huge cat lover.
It is interesting to read about the diet information as I see many people feed their cats wet food or a raw diet and I have only ever fed my cats dry food. I might learn something here!
I live in Oklahoma. My children are 21, 18, and 13. My step children are 22, 18, and 13.
