Yesterday was our 35th. We spent the day together. We took a ride and stopped by to see my sister in the neighboring town. Her son was home from out of state so we got a surprise seeing him. Then we rode down to the ocean. We at at a very country restaurant. Both of us ordered the roast chicken, with choice of rice or dressing and gravy and two sides. I got the rice, no gravy or bread. My two sides were beets and green butter beans. Dessert was jello and whipped cream. When they brought the food it was one half a chicken. Neither of us could eat that much chicken. We boxed the leftovers, bought ice at Wal Mart for our cold bag and brought it home for Muffin's supper. Then we shopped awhile, It was just a nice day spent together.

So how long have you been married and how do you celebrate on your anniversary.

Congratulations!  That sounds like a very nice day.

We had our 28th anniversary in April.  I don't remember what we did!  LOL  Probably went out to dinner.

Happy Anniversary! It sounds like you had a lovely day. Did Muffin appreciate the chicken?

We've been married for 33 years and usually go out to eat for our anniversary. Generally that's about it.

Yes, Muffin had chicken for his supper last night. There is more that he will probably get tonight. He did eat Fancy Feast this morning with no too much coaxing. We took an hours ride today and went to the Aldi's store. While there, I bought some sardines packed in water. I am saving those for emergency.

Happy Anniversary!!

Rick and I celebrated 42 years back at the end of April. We usually go out for dinner that weekend.

Since our anniversary and his birthday are about 5 days apart, I always make him breakfast in bed that weekend, too.
