Santa Cat is coming to town!
 

 2 weeks till Secret Santa Sign ups!!  


The team has graciously allowed me to take the reigns this year for our site Secret Santa exchange!  I will begin taking names, information and hints in approximate 2 weeks.  So keep your eyes out for the thread!  You will have 2 weeks to sign up and then we will draw names.

We will of course play by the rules:
In order to participate, you must:
1. Be serious about participating and committed to sending out your gift. If you are either logistically or financially unable to ship your gift to arrive in time for December 25th, please do not sign up. 
2. Be at least 18 years old as of the close of registration.
3. Have 300 or more posts by August 31, 2013.
4. Been a member for 6 months as of the close of registration (in other words have registered in March 2013 or earlier).
5. In the interest of fairness and familiarity, you must have made at the minimum 20 posts between March 1st, 2013 and August 1st, 2013.
6. OR be a Subscribing Member, which would overrule #3, #4 and #5. There will be NO exceptions to these rules.

So that's it!  In years past the Secret Santa exchange has been a lot of fun!  Not just in the exchanges; but all the excitement leading up to it and the more the merrier!  So keep your eyes out for this years sign up thread!

Just a little over a week to go!  


For those who haven't participated before; SS can be a real riot here sometimes!  I know I've had some great secret Santa's in the past.  We've had some great running jokes too.  Gnomes will forever be synonymous to TCS and our Secret Santa Exchanges for me!

I said 2 weeks!  It's only been 1 week and 4 days! 
  I'm kidding you of course!

I'm going to have to start checking in on the Cat Lounge more often. Totally missed this thread. And speaking of gnomes--these guys hitched a ride in my SS package one year. :D

I think I might have to play again this year.  You know, I think I saw some gnomes on sale at Lowe's the other day.  Hmm...llamas are a little trickier to find, but they're out there.  Oh, yes.  They're out there.

LOL!  Those are cute!  For Gnomes! 
  I would keep one around just to make me think of TCS!  One of my friends and her husband always bring a little one on vacation and take pictures of it like the Roaming Gnome (from Travelocity I think?).  I'm guessing it's mostly an inside joke to them...but I bet they'd fit in here! 
  Or be shocked at finding another long running gnome joke! 


I am on alert for llamas!  There used to be an alpaca farm near my in-laws house.  Maybe a framed picture....or poster! of one of those will do!
