Hi all,
I just had to take a moment to show off my sweet kittties. I signed up to this forum when I adopted my first cat back in March. I also started volunteering at the shelter around the same time and managed to avoid a ton of gorgeous cats until yesterday when a little one stole my heart.
Linus, the first cat I adopted, is roughly 2 and a funny little dude. He is aloof most of the time, but will enjoy a good cuddle when he is in the mood. He is not a lap cat though, and would much rather stare out the window at birds or bother the poor dog.
After I adopted Linus, I had a dream that I adopted a white cat with blue eyes. I mentioned it to some friends in passing who worked at the shelter, and got the call a couple of days ago that one was going for adoption. It was love at first sight. We haven't decided on a name yet (either Lotus or Cricket) but she is 10 weeks old and the sweetest thing. She is feisty and playful and super cuddly. She is also deaf and I am hoping that I will meet others on here who are raising deaf cats.
Without further ado, here are my Yin and Yang.
Linus
Lotus (or Cricket?)
