So we recieved two female 6 1/2 week old kittens a couple hours ago the one has drank 3oz of kitten formula but the other one has only drink a little bit. She is smaller then the other one and isnt very vocale but she has played a bit with her sister,  Should i be worried and what can i do to convince her to eat?

Have you tried any stinky canned foods? At 6 1/2 weeks they can start on wet if they haven't already done so. Just feed them frequently with either kitten food or an all life stage canned, preferably grain free with no potato or peas(carbs). Fancy Feast would do as a start. They have a couple of kitten flavors.

I would keep offering what you have until then, but they should be ok. Leave it in a bowel they can drink from when ever they want to.

We have named the two kittens the light orange one is psycho and the slighty darker oranger is tigger. Psycho has gone the pee three times today and poop once while tigger has only peeded twice today and no poop.. Tigger will mainly only eat the soft can food and a little bit of kitten formula while Psycho will happy chow down on both formula and soft canned food. Tigger will eat but it doesnt seem like she eats a lot but she is getting more and more energy  Is there a way to increase tiggers appitie? We let tigger eat by herself then she starts looking for her sister and they end up sharing a plate but tigger sseems to lose focus on her food

Eating to fast can cause them to throw up sometimes. Just keep an eye on her appetite. They are precious kittens!

I made a mistake yesterday and weight them right after they ate so i dont know how much they acually weighted yesterday but today Tigger was 297 grams and Psycho was 357 grams  I mean Tigger has gotten more energy

I weighed her right after i feed them So i dont know if she lost weight or if that was just the food in her stomach  But either way it worries me

I'm not an expert in caring for kittens this young. Hopefully somebody will be on soon who can help you with ideas to get Tigger to eat more. Try different flavors. Most kitties can't resist Fancy feast classics. Warm them up a little so they have a strong smell. If she isn't gaining weight I would call the vet. Have they been wormed yet?

Good luck with the new babies

You could also try giving her some human baby food. Meat only. No garlic or onions. Beechnut or Gerber make good ones if you can get them.

That is sweet that your dog is mothering them
.

It's good they're getting wormed soon. That might be causing the throwing up and weight problems. The sooner the better.

You want the ones that are meat only. I think they are called stage 1. Chicken or turkey are fine. She might like it better a little bit warm because it will have a stronger smell. My cats are 2 years old and they still love baby food. I give it to them once in a while. Beechnut brand is best because it only has meat and water in it.
