What kind of camera do you have?  Or what do you use to take pictures of your cats?

Good camera

Cheap camera

Cell phone

Laptop (yes, I know people who run around with their laptop using the webcam to snap pictures!)

No camera and are hoping to get a camera.

I've had an Olympus E-450 for years.  I was taking the photos for our shelter and got so tired of how slow the ordinary digitals were.. especially when trying to photograph cats and dogs.

It was the cheapest digital SLR I could get at the time and I think it's fabulous.

I have an old (very old) Sony Mavica that uses the small CDs for pictures. I still like it and it does take good pictures, but I'm starting to have trouble finding the small CDs now. I can find the small DVDs and such, but they won't work.

Rick has a new Sony-something....I forget what it is. He also has a newer Canon-something that takes really beautiful pictures. I don't remember what they are....I'll have to find out.

Both of us use our cell phones most of the time since we always have them with us.

I've got a Panasonic DMC-TZ10. It's a couple of years old now and medium priced I guess. It replaced an old Sony that was good for movies but not so good on photos.  This one's good for stills, landscape, macro, and movies but I'm yet to master the good action shot which is a shame when I've got a cat that's usually on the move, and if he wasn't before the camera came out he is by the time I try to take his picture! Most pic's are of my moggy (or my friends' moggies) and I take thousands! Most get deleted as they're so rubbish.
I know, I really should read the manual....

Best: Nikon D5000 DSLR

Better: Canon Underwater digital (can't think of the exact model off hand)- LOVE it for underwater photos

Good: my iPhone 5

I use all 3 for my cats.. mainly the Canon.

I have a Nikon D5100 that I leave out all the time because I just never know when one of the kitties is going to do something cute that I want to get a photo of (to add to the collection of about 5000 other cute cat pics I have on my computer....)
but more often than not, I have my iPhone closer at hand and can capture the adorableness with that.

I own an Olympus, this was my first digital camera ever.  I got it at a good price and I really love it.

I have a Canon EOS 50D with five lenses. I used to use it constantly, but I haven't been taking many pics lately.

I also have an IPhone 4s.

I have a Canon Rebel T3, which I use for my best shots, a Canon Powershot Elph SD1200 when I don't feel like hauling out the Rebel. In a pinch, I use the cell phone.
