Hi! I'm posting again. I just can't seem to stop. My kitten jumped in my lap while I was eating my dinner tonight (in a recliner), and landed right on my plate. He hit the edge of my plate so the plate and fork went flying. He looked very bewildered. He also likes to roll on his back and have his tummy scratched like a dog. My four year old cat loves empty boxes, and will often try to fit in to boxes that are too small for her (she weighs 12 pounds). She spent half an hour one day trying to squeeze in to an empty tissue box. She ended up toppling over a few times and then ended up just lying on top of the now flattened box. These stories may not be the funniest in the world, but they were very fun for me to witness. Does anyone else have some funny stories to share?

Don't know if people are missing this because of the error in title or that you answered it yourself so maybe not so visible?

Funniest thing Mouse did was when he was little and still with his mum - and he does quite a lot of silly things.

He was running about and playing on his usual double bed playground, all
and went for a major pounce at 'something'  Totally forgot the bed was high up and had edges he could fall off. I was sitting on the far edge of the bed - all I saw was this little kitten 4 paw pounce  almost vertically 2 feat into the air then dead-drop past the edge of the bed....
My heart was in my mouth but then I knew he was OK because the  2 people I was with could see him and were killing themselves laughing (and then I joined in). So wish I'd caught it on video.  Still laugh just thinking about it.   .

One of my cats has a pretty easy time jumping up on the window above the bathtub in my master bathroom. The other cat...not so much. She thinks, however that a running start might help and so she moves further and further back with each attempt, running around the bed, around the corner, up the tub, SPLAT against the wall. She turns around like a demon, runs back, this time all the way up the cat tower that's next to the far side of the bed...and back to the window. Lol, she never makes it up to the window, but
 for trying!!!

Sugar plays up and down the stepladder leaning against the wall on the back porch. She will climb up the back of the steps, mouse in mouth,  throw it with her mouth, and try to catch it when it is coming down. Thump, bang, crash, claws on wood, and a cat talking with her mouth full of mouse. It is noisy.

Every day, my cat goes through these episodes in which she acts generally crazy, running around like mad as if she were chasing invisible prey. As I understand it, this happens to indoor cats who are bored and need to burn off some excess energy.

She also likes to stand up on her hind legs and rub my hand if I raise it above her. She will climb up on me and rub my face as well.

Speaking of rubbing, the funniest thing she does is that she sometimes shoves her head in between things to mark them with her scent. I could put my arm on a chair and she'd stick her head between my arm and the chair. I have no idea why she does this, but it's amusing.

Can't call them anything - too busy LOL at the top one!
One very chilled furball  :)
Yes, this actually our first cat, Nikita, on the second day at her new home. She was shipped to us from Michigan as a 3.5mo old kitten, and was clearly recovering from the stress of the long trip.

Obviously very traumatized by the move and taking time to settle in then  - NOT.

My 5 month old kitten performed 3 foot vertical leap in order to allow his sneaky brother to run underneath him. Same two kittens. One performed a mid-air take down against on the other. I felt like I was watching the Matrix.

I' think these behaviors are very funny and sweet the playfullnes of a cat is a gift once they stop be creative we should be worry you have a wonderful pet enjoy every moment they around you .my big boy Phoenix going through the every morning rutine climb above my bed and push things on my head until I' woke up or come and push he's icecold nose to my face  and he is very determent about these things like stand up on two legs and opening doors comming into when I' take a shower etc... he is not very vocal but by action he let you know what he wants.my other cat babygirl is the sweetest cat I' ever meet usually we have a game hide and seek she climb under the sheet and when I' ask where is babygirl she jump out and tackle my hand for letting me know she find me I' try to develop a deeper relationship with my animals they are wonderful and god's gift to me .I'am happy for you

This morning I was emptying the cat box and Thunder  was watching me put  the poop down the toilet. So she climbed on it and slipped in. Boy you should have seen her jump out from that water !
