When we lived with our grandfather long ago we planted rubarb. I picked it everytime it was ready. It is still my favorite. What's yours ?

I do like rhubarb, but only raw. When I was a kid, I'd pull rhubarb right out of my aunt's garden, flop down on the ground and start munching. She knew that, if she couldn't find me, all she needed to do was go out to her rhubarb patch.

Today, my favorite vegetable in our garden has to be the cucumbers, simply because I love pickles so much and I can make pickles with the cukes.

I like rhubarb pie but I haven't had it in years.  I think it's a toss up between strawberries and watermelon for my favorite produce.

I don't think I've ever eaten rhubarb!

Tomatoes and basil is my favorite.  When the tomatoes ripened, hubby and I would head out to the garden with salt shaker in hand, take a bite out of a tomato, sprinkle on some salt, crush up a fresh basil leaf on it and take another bite....YUM.

Go to the grocery store and buy some. It is very sour in my opinion but good.

I was in the grocery store yesterday and saw strawberry-rhubarb yogurt.  I've never bought it before but after talking about rhubarb here, I bought some.  But I guess it doesn't really count as trying the actual vegetable--it just tasted like strawberry yogurt.

I planted green peppers in a pot on my steps. They are finally ready. Tomorrow is the day
. I have a good recipe for ranch dressing to dip them in.
