Chicken and Liver cat food safe?

Hello,

I feed my kitten Purina Pro Plan food.  I recently started feeding her the wet canned food, chicken and liver for kittens and I free feed some Purina chicken and rice dry food. I just read that liver can be dangerous to cats but I haven't read anything saying this food could be harmful to my kitten. Its the first canned food she has liked so I am hesitating changing the food but I will if it is actually going to harm her. Will this food harm my kitten?

Too much plain liver, especially turkey liver, would be bad, but canned cat food that's chicken and liver is fine to feed her.  It's good that you are feeding her some canned food, rather than all kibble .  Keep trying to find other canned foods that she likes as well, just so she doesn't become a picky eater .  Some cats seem perfectly happy to eat the same thing day in and day out, and others like variety.  The only problem with the same food all the time is...manufacturers tend to change their formulas
