New member - this is a great site!

Hi, new poster to this site TNR1 told about this site. Nice to be here, you all seem like nice folks. I don't officially have a cat, but my neighbors cat from next door adopted us about a year ago so therefore I guess we do have one (?). His name is Tuffy and as soon as I can shrink a picture file, will send one of him. I grew up with at least 2-3 cats at all times when I was younger. Have a senior dog right now, but she doesn't care about the cat so it works out. TNR1, I'm "Cindy" from Petfinders forum.

Hi and welcome to The Cat Site! Tuffy is a very handsome boy-are his eyes copper? Having a cat is not a requirement to be here, of course. But it sounds like Tuffy has you! I look forward to hearing more from you and more about Tuffy. And we love pictures!

Hi, What a nice welcome for someone who just has been *adopted* by a cat! Tuffy's quite the charmer and I have to say, since I grew up with cats, this is one FINE one! I hope he'll adapt to the next dog we get. Again, he's not officially ours, so it's up to the situation that arises at the time. I sure hope to adopt our next dog that is cat-friendly though. Tuffy's eyes do look copper in the picture I posted, but they are yellow-green. The lighting in the room I took the pic in is very golden with the lighting and the wood furniture coloring. The site I sent with the one picture has him on our bed, all sprawled out and comfy and one in "his" box =)

Tuffy is a real handsome guy. I like black and white kitties. Indy Jones, my tuxedo, is one of my favorites, mainly due to his personality. He's a real brat sometimes.

If you ever decide to get a kitty of your own, please consider adopting one from your local animal shelter. There are so many homeless kitties that need a good home. They have so much love to give.

I'll definitely adopt all pets we have. All the dogs we've had were rescues or adoptees and the cats I grew up with were the ones Mom let "follow her home", ha ha! Thanks for the warm welcome!
