I assume the white one was the one who was sick several times yesterday as looked so awfull . A worm of 2 to 3 inches was part of the vomit. Of which my husband thought it was an elastic band. I got these kittens 2 weeks ago and paid quite a bit due to the owner telling me that they had been wormed and de-fleas . I started treating them yesterday but never in my whole life have I seen so much sick . Is this normal? What am I to expect in the next couple of days? Gave them both Panacur.

Hello, I'm so sorry your little one is sick. I am not familiar with Panacur and have only used Pyrantel or Drontal.

Have you had them vet checked? I would do this as soon as you can. It is recommended to do so anytime you get a new pet. Kittens can get dehydrated very quickly which can cause them to go downhill fast.

Panacur treats round worm. Where we live, round worm is resistant to drontal, so Panacur is pretty standard. It must be administered at least once more in three weeks. But it's only available with a scrip, so does that mean they've already seen the vet?

The vomiting should stop within a day or two. It's a good idea midway through the course of panacur to dump all the litter, bleach the boxes, and replace with fresh litter.

Hope everything is cleared up soon!

The medication is now available from pet stores which was suggested by a mate. I will see the vet with them next week.
