a little progress with Lily and soft food, also a question about sardines?

So I went shopping today, and instead of getting the normal Fancy Feast turkey & cheddar, I tried several different cans. I got friskies Plus- Oceanfish in gravy, Fancy Feast OceanFish, and a few Purina One Braised beef. Lily actually didn't snuff her nose up to the Friskies! She actually took a few bites before walking away, so yaye, progress!  Callie liked it of course, LOL. Also I wanted to make sure, I am pretty sure someone on here mentioned that Sardines are a good healthy treat for cats? I picked up a can of Sardines today, in water. is that ok to offer them as a treat? I may give them a few tonight.

Yes, sardines in water (no salt) are good once a week snacks. I would be a little sparing with that since you are also feeding fish varieties of canned, and you want to avoid feeding too much fish.
