Hiya from Jessica and Artemis!

So I've been looking around for a cat forum to be active in and after stalking the forums here for a while I decided to go ahead and make an account.

My name is Jessica. I'm 21 years old, I'm a cat lover (have been my entire life) AND I'm expecting my first child this Christmas. 

I own one cat, she's the little furry light of my life. Her name is Artemis.

I adopted her last September after the cat I had owned my entire life passed away.

Artemis is a scottish fold, cute as a button with the best little personality ever. She sleeps next to my chest through the entire night, wakes me up with kisses and loud purring in the morning and is just all around perfect in my eyes.

Adorable!  How old is she?

The place I adopted her from guessed her to be around 4 but I'm not positive.

Congrats on expecting your human baby! My mom tells me our cat Samantha took to me straight home from the hospital. Hopefully you can raise another cat lover.
 

Hello, welcome to the site. Awwwww, Artemis is lovely, the stripe down her nose is purrfect. Congratulations on the expected human baby - I hope Artemis enjoys snuggling in with her new companion as you and your baby grow - they too can bond a little even before you all meet each other.  

Thanks guys! I'm really thinking Artemis won't have the slightest problem with a baby. She's very docile and a huge cuddle bug. 

She likes to lay on my belly and sleep as it is. 

I'm sure my daughter will love her and she will love my daughter.
