My cat Snicker, I've had him since he was 6 months old.
He's about 14 now.
Pukes whenever. Not necessarily after eating.
He may just drink water, then puke water.
Or dry heaves.
He eats wet food, and dry.
Different food does not seem to matter.

On average puking once every two days.

Is it simply 'old cat syndrome'?

Any suggestions would be helpful.
thanks,
Sleepless in Seattle

Take Snickers to a vet. Vomiting in an older cat can indicate early signs of a number of diseases such as chronic renal failure. At his age, you want to catch diseases before they take hold and are too late to treat. A geriatric profile is needed at his age.

Please take your cat to the vet right away. As momofmany said, this can be a sign of serious illnesses. In fact, this sounds a lot of what happened in my elderly cat who had renal failure, but it could be due to a variety of medical problems.
