An old friend of mine contacted me the other day telling me about how my ex boyfriend shot a kitten with a CO2 powered bb gun and I'm very worried I'm taking her to the humane society tmr I'm so upset I'm bawling i brought her over to my house and I'm taking care of her. I just want to know if she has a chance

How awful. I am so glad you are not with this person now, this is such a horrible thing they have done. I can not understand how anyone can treat another living creature like that, especially a defenseless kitten.

I too am not trained in cat health but please, please get this kitten veterinary care as soon as you can, it must be in a lot of pain and not feeling well.  You are wonderful for taking her in and caring for her.  Good luck, I hope she is OK.

How awful!! I hope the humane society will do something for her. I would be sure to ask them what exactly they will do. It's impossible for any of us to be able to tell you her prognosis, as none of us are vets. I certainly hope she will get vet care and recover.
Poor little thing. Sending
all goes well!

PLEASE report your ex to the authorities. Have the Humane Society help you with this. Nip this behavior in the bud.

Where is the wound located? Did the BB pass through or is it still lodged? Let us know how everything turns out.

Yes the kitten needs to be seen by a vet right away. A vet or emergency clinics should also accept such a terrible case. I agree you need to report the ex to the authorities. Please keep us updated.
