I took in an abandoned cat who was sick three weeks ago and took him to the vet to get treated.  Long story short:  I can't keep him.  He's a neutered seal point.  Any suggestions?  I dont have much time or resources.  I barely afforded the vet bill.  Help!

Awww! Looks like a handsome guy even from the blurr. So glad you took him in and got him the care he needed. It's a shame you can't keep him as it seems from the picture he obviously loves you. Have you asked family and friends? Perhaps put up a flyer at the vets who treated him?

I have no family in this state. Haven't tried the vet route. Maybe I can email a bunch of vets.

Where are you located? I am sure a siamese rescue may help since he is pointed. Here is a large one located in the states (http://www.siameserescue.org). You can also try an add on http://www.petfinder.com and list him as a siamese mix in order to attract people looking for pointed cats. You are right as well that vets would be good to contact.

I would contact all the vets in your area, all of them. Put up a flyer in their offices. I assure you someone will snatch up this beauty. All my best. :vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes:
