Just curious to see if anyone knows how to get hard water marks off shower doors. I think I've bought every product advertised but nothing seems to remove those stubborn hard water stains on shower doors. Does anyone have a magic cure?

Tru lemon oil. Wipe on with a damp cloth. They wipe off with a fluffy cloth.

Honestly, those things are the best things on the face of the earth. I can clean pretty much anything with them and it comes right off. Love them for our textured fridge....gets off all the dirt and smudges on the corners. The cats love to rub up against corners and, eventually, the corners will get black from them. The magic eraser takes it right off.....on the corners of the fridge and the corners in the house. Doesn't do anything to the wall paint either. When we had hard water, our bathtub always had this ugly black ring....the only thing that worked reasonably well was the magic eraser. And when I was helping my co-worker wash the walls down in his new house (those walls were black with grime), the erasers did a great job. I swear by them.

I agree about Magic Eraser. it seems to work on everything, but I believe I tried it on the shower doors and didn't do much. Will try again. But there's a product I see advertised called Finazzle. I think it's only sold in Ace Hardware stores. Checked their website and there is a video showing how it gets the grout cleaned. Oh- just realized - that's a completely different cleaning subject, but one I have had aproblem with. Discolored grout on the shower floor. The video shows the exact same floor we have in the shower and how Finazzle seems to do wonders. Will stop by Ace and maybe try it-- there's a money back guarantee so I have nothing to lose. Maybe they have a product for the shower doors also. Will try Magic Eraser again. I've used it on about everything else and it's wonderful. Even cleaned up a mailbox that was in pretty bad shape.

Magic Eraser is awesome, but it didn't work on my hard water stains either. My water stains are white...different mineral perhaps?

The only thing I've ever used that worked on this type of hard water staining are products with citric acid in them. Problem is, they are strong and require ventilation. And I still had to scrub.

Lime Away...........It works! It's a process to apply and clean, but it works, and once mineral deposits are gone, if u keep a weekly cleaning with Fantastic or Clorox...... with bleach it will keep build up from happening.

Lime away works, that's for sure but make sure you wear a mask.  before I moved to my apartment last year I had shower doors that I tried everything to get rid of hard water stains. Then i tried Lime Away and it did work but it gagged me alot.

I hate those shower doors !

Have you tried straight vinegar?  I know soaking a shower head or faucet head in vinegar will take away all the hard water build up.  You could also try this on your shower doors:  1 C blue Dawn, 1 C vinegar, 2 C water.  Place in spray bottle and spray after you finish in the shower.  Let it set until you shower the next day.  The condensation and the spray from the next day's shower will rinse off the mixture.  We use this on our tile walls and shower curtain liner to clean it and keep the stains away.

I use CLR. It dissolves Calcium, Lime and Rust. It is more expensive than Lime Away, but IMO works much better. It also requires using ventilation.
