I have been kicking around the fourm for a little while now and finally got off my mobile and onto a laptop to introduce my little family...
My SO and I have 4 cats.... It started with 2 and increased over a year to four and now I refuse to get anymore even though I almost just took in two babies who were going to be drowned.. But thats anther story...
We started with our two Long haired boys... They are around 3 and we adopted them at 2. They are brothers who love to snuggle into each other and their humans. The lady they came from no long wanted them because of a divorce so I happily scooped them up. The Grey one is Smokey and the Orangish one is Artemis. Just in the last few months Artemis has fell ill with Bladder Stones... Later I will get into that for curious people on our method of getting rid of them.
Next we or I should say I got Nala (10-11mths old our short haired Tortie)... I was orignally going to get a pure black kitten as I always wanted one... Well the lady brought them all over in a van and she kept reffering to Nala as less then equal and ugly and how shes going to be in a barn... Well... That second I decided I wanted the little black kitten who looked like she was bleached... Later we found she was a Tortie and we love her so much. Shes our little misfit in the house as shes also a Short hair (our only short hair).
She is more of my SO's baby then a cat. She comes running to him when he says baby or Nala she sleeps with us and refuses to share him lol... He said they have a special bond because the day I got her he came home and found her in the bathroom. He heard a baby meow and looked all over the place and then found her behind the tolite... lol... I don't have many pictures I plan to take photos of her also on white
The last one is our little Amaya the Long haired (Hopefully) born May 1st ... Her name means night rain... We found it fitting as she is pure black and born in May.. Yes I finally got my pure black kitten also a little girl. Amaya is a very recent additon. I brought her home about two weeks ago now and its like shes always been here. I catch her cudding with the adults and playing with Nala and cudding in the bed every night. I had to take special pictures of her today because she is so dark you cant see her well so I placed her on my white blanket. (This is when it gets picture heavy lol)
None of our cats have been declawed (My poor leather couches lol) and the boys are fixed. we plan on taking the girl in togther... Our cats are also indoor only.
I dont have much else to say... I will add a few pictures bellow..
