Hi guys,

So, I adopted out a young female that I have been fostering for 2 1/2 years into a wonderful home, that took place 2 1/2 weeks ago. Yesterday morning kitty darted for the front door and got out. She stood close by in the bushes and 2 traps were set. She would not come to the adopter or anybody else. Today she is no longer there, flyers were passed out in the neighboorhood and she was spotted down the street but now no sighting again. I am afraid that she gets further and further away from the home and may not recall it as her home since she has not been there that long. I will join the search this weekend and if I spot her I hope she will come to me if I have some yummy food in my hands. I am terrified something will happen to her, she has always been an indoor kitty and the area is close to a busy street and Coyotes roam the streets at night. What else can we do?

Oh poor kitty. Generally, it's recommended to keep cats indoors for two weeks when moving to a new location, so hopefully she's still close. Keep setting traps with her favorite foods. There's an article on here about finding lost cats which may have some tips you haven't tried yet. I'm on my phone so I can't link it, sorry.
