Hi everybody,

My name is sammikay and I'd like to introduce my furry friends. I live with my boyfriend, but had to move back home for a little bit so our herd has doubled. Together we have three cats and a dog, and with the rest of the family we have three more cats another dog, and two guinea pigs (oh, and a fish).

Ollie and Cocoa (the ones that woof): Ollie is a spunky sheltie mix who is working towards a therapy certification. He loves blueberries and anyone's food but his, but hates swimming and the vacuum cleaner. Cocoa is a lab mix that has been with me through thick and thin. He prefers to laze around all day and slurp up peanut butter treats.

Mischief, Pepper, Zoe, Dakota, Eva and Dora (the ones that "meow"): Mischief is a 13 year old tabby and is our retired hunter/mouse connoisseur. He's had the hardest time adjusting to the girls, but doesn't care about too much else other than making sure he gets his half can of food every morning. Pepper is a black, long haired diva. She spends her days laying in the sun, and leaving chunks of hair about the house just for kicks and giggles. We rescued her from the side of the highway so while she is not the most friendly cat, she does have her moments of affection. Zoe is... a character. She's an orange/blonde tabby and hasn't meowed once yet (she more makes a mreep noise). When we adopted her from the shelter, we were told she was an adult. Lo and behold, she was only 6 months old (and has made up for every second of lost time weight wise). We're working on helping her lose the extra pounds as I type. The girls (Dakota, Eva and Dora) are all sisters and were adopted from my boyfriend's mom when they couldn't find homes. Dakota is our sleek, tabby jungle cat. She's very talkative and loves to play with the laser. Eva (our cow spotted kitty) is a little more sedentary, preferring to laze in her (two sizes too small) box all day, occasionally breaking to catch a fly or two. And Dora? She's definitely a daddy's girl and can talk her way out of anything with her big green eyes and hemi sized purr.

Felix and Oscar (the ones that wheek): Felix and Oscar are our two guinea pigs (one is white, one is a muddy brown, bet you can't guess which is which :)). They like to stretch their meaty little legs by taking a run around the living room (with no other herd members present, of course), or go for a stroll in the garden to munch on some grass.

Izzy (the one that makes bubbles): Izzy is the last of many fish I had from high school. When I got her I only expected a year or so for her to make it, but here we are almost five years strong! She likes to swim and bubble away all day, and hide from the kitty cats when they nap under her tank light.

So that's our herd! If you have any questions, or would like to know more, fire away :3.
