This is Gizmo she has been part of our family since her birth, she is 15 yrs. old.
This is Isis, she has been part of the family since June, she is 4 months old. As of a week ago, Gizmo has been a little stressed over the hyperactive kitty and has had episodes of doing her business around the house instead of her cat litter. She has had a check-up and is healthy, Isis will be spayed and de-clawed next week. I am wondering if this has anything to do with the all of a sudden change in Gizmos behavior. Even then, we love them both!

Welcome to TCS!

Beautiful cats, and a good time to have Isis spayed.

But PLEASE do not have her declawed.

Here's a whole thread on the issue, and lots of links to go through.

I'm sure we can help you work around these issues.  Little kittens can get up the noses of older cats who really would prefer a quiet life.  Isis needs to be kept really active and have lots of play things.. things to grab, climb, hide in etc.  It would be great if Gizmo had a quiet space she could retreat to as well.

Another thing to consider is how many cat litters you have?  Some cats hate sharing a litter tray, or at least would like an option.

Theres a whole thread here the whole issue.. have a look through and see if anything helps there:

It's lovely to have you on TCS.  Please note, though, that this site is against declawing.  If you read through the links I've given you you'll see why.

And members, lets give MMDO some good, caring advice.
