Picked them up and gosh they are soo cute. There are 6, 3 male orange, two black..one male one female...and a female grey. How do I tell gender in the black ones as she told me what they arebut I can't tell them apart lol. They are 6 weeks and they didn't test them just put flea stuff on and gave me a dewormer for when they are 8 weeks. Boy are their nails sharp! Background is not feral on these ones .. they came from a lady wth18 unfixed cats..the group fixed her cats for her and took two litters off her....

Now, they arent ferales in the words meaning.  So this does make it somewhat easier for you, it does.

But they may very well be semi-ferales anyway in reality. Cats living with hoarders often are!

They need almost surely quite some fostering to be properly socialized, human loving cats.

Good luck!

What I have noticed too about them is they all have tabby markings...I mean the ornage tabbies is no big but the grey is interest with light markings as in hard to see but the two black kittens have faint faint faint stripes. So cool.

Oh my Heart!  They are absolutely adorable.  Bless you for taking them.

A friend of mine has a black cat with faint tabby markings that faded some as he grew.  Now you can only see them in the bright sun.  Perhaps your trio will be the same...

I hope they keep their markings its no neat! Neferet- the grey and Garfield- the lighter orange appear they might be long haired though I am certainly no expert. They have a thicker fluffier coat.. Neferet as specially .. hers is super thick and has a few hairs that poke out.

What total sweet babies!  You must be having so much fun and at the same time be very exhausted!!  I am sure they have alot of energy and love to get into everything!  Thank goodness there are kind people in this world to help!

Lol they don't get into much yet.. they are very good that way. They just keep 'going' on the floor. Both 'goings'. They use their litter box too.. this morning I put out a total of three in their 10 by 10 room so hopefully that helps more.

Wait, its you in the Preg & Kitten forum, with the 6 peeing orphans??

So this is why they send to you 6 "problem free" kittens, instead of the semiferale mom with HER kittens, to foster, because they are orphans and dont have their mom with them?

I see.

Good luck!

I was never told the reasons but I thought it was bc this is my first time fostering. I was supppst to get a feral litter taken from their mom that they were going to TNR . Instead she said she has this litter that was from someone with too many cats and didn't have them all fixed. Mom is still there I think.

One kitten was trying to nurse me today... they were searching with their muzzle all around my sweater at my belly with their eyes mostly shut..I told that was odd..again I feel they needed more time with mom . I also think it is one kitten woth bathroom issues..they pooped and peed once in the same spot..very cault them but that was the only mistakes this afternoon..after I cleaned it up I put another litter box in on that spot.
