So Last night I noticed my 9 month old kitten look like she had her neck fur caught in her mouth and she was trying to get it out.  Then she starting to run around the house fast and foaming at the mouth.  Now tonight she started the same thing.  Ran around the house and saliva was all dripping out and all over the house on the floor.  It lasts about 1 minute and she stops.  Any ideas?  Could it be a seizure.  I had a dog that had seizures but he would fall to the ground and he legs would twitch and he would faint.  Thanks

Has you cat had access to anything toxic. Sometimes cats eat things they shouldn't and if it is toxic it can cause foaming at the mouth.
Since you have seen this two times, I think your cat needs to see the vet. I hope it is nothing serious, but I would want to get it checked by the vet.

Your kitten is definitely having a seizure, you need to take it to the vet ASAP. I have seen 2 different kittens have seizures and this is classic, the seizure scares them so the run around for awhile afterward. Likely he was exposed to something toxic, in my case it was exposed to flea treatment for dogs. I'm not trying to scare you just let you know the urgency of the situation.

So what happened to your cat after she was exposure to the toxin?  Did she have seizures?  Also is she ok now?

Unfortunately not, the vet gave her something to make her throw up and gave her water but she ended up with slight brain damage. She had frequent seizures afterward and they became so frequent we had to put her down about a year later...

This just happened to Khaleesi recently. I applied Advantage Kitten on her, she licked it, and then started doing the same thing. Foaming at the mouth and zooming around the house. Every time she tried to stop, she would just look uncomfortable and take off again. I had to hold her to calm her down and eventually she was perfectly fine.

Weird that you cat did it twice though? Must be getting into something..
