Hello everyone!

I'm brand new to the Cat Site and a fairly new companion to an awesome rescue cat. I really hope to learn a lot here and be the best cat parent I can be.

I adopted my wonderful kitty, Chowder, from a rescue one of my good friends runs back in April. I went with her to her vet to help her walk some dogs in boarding and met Chowder! I instantly loved him and learned he had been living at the vet in boarding for a few months because they couldn't place him since Chowder is FIV+. I have no other animals and love him so it worked out great!

I am looking forward to being part of the forum and hopefully learning more about what is best for Chowder.

Here's Chowder when I was trying to get things done last night and he decided to sit down on top of me.  I informed him he's kind of rude, but I love him.
