People, those cats are fantastic.  I keep thinking that the best pictures are here and have a lot of envy about how well everyone does in the picture taking area.  Now if I can just get my two to get closer.  I got one that I thought was cute on my phone and do not know how to get it out of there.  Guess it will have to be a show off pic from here as I am not as smart as my phone.

I wouldn't say this is heart melting like kittens, but I took this photo the other day out of sheer randomness and it really made me smile. It's Khaleesi in the window behind the curtains I made. It didn't deserve it's own thread either lol

For sure
Many kittens are born with blue eyes, that eventually changes into their adult eye colour. My two were no exemption, both had blue eyes as kittens before the colour transfered! If I remember correctly, the change usually begins at around 12 weeks.

Same goes with human babies. I was born with blue eyes, that later went to brown after a year

Thanks, I knew that about human kids, just did not know that about cats.

Here's one I just took of my cat Lilith with her two little boys. They're three days old, now. :-) At night they sleep in my wardrobe with the heating pad, but during the day they take over my bed in a nest made of blankets and pillows. :-)

I have a lot of great picutres of Mama, seeing as I have been documenting almost everything she has done since I took her in!

This one is of Mama the day after I got her back from the vet after being spayed. You can just see her little shaved tum. It was one of the first times she curled up on my bed and slept comfortably.

Sleeping on the floor of my bedroom the first time I let her in there.

This is Jasmine relaxing safe and sound and happy and full of food after we got her back. She went missing for about a month and when we found her again, she was just skin and bone. I don't think she would have lasted another week. I have a whole folder of pictures of her relaxing in the safe and warm, full of food and drowning in cuddles after that ordeal! She was pretty jumpy for a while when we got her back so she adopted the chairs tucked under the table, this one in particular is great because of the way she is lying.

You can see here she has been home for a while, she has a bit of flab. But normally she looks like a soft toy, you can barely see she has a skeleton at all. She has aways been a real fatty (unlike her sister who is pure muscle!).

Speaking of her sister... Tabitha doesn't really 'do' heartwarming... she's a very bizarre and neurotic individual.
But every now and again she does something like this:
