Thanks Stewball and Maewkaew :)

I have saved several hundred over the years from shelter euthanization, just threw a few randoms out here but adore every one of them.

Nothing like pulling a cat on death row, and seeing it through to a new forever home and a happy life.

Cherry was one lucky kitty, the shelter made a mistake and called me saying they have a feral with a microchip registered to my rescue group, then immediately called back and said they were mistaken, and never mind.....well shoot, who is this cat? A feral going to it's death?

Yes, very feral and aggressive type, wild. Yes, waiting to be killed......

Now despite how difficult it is to rehome/relocate a feral cat, I believe this happened for a reason, fate, whatever so I said HOLD THAT CAT! I will come and get it.

They had her already in a carrier box when I arrived, I didn't attempt to look inside at all, just drove home with plans to put in my feral cat cage and find a home.

Hah!! Here was this great big dollfaced girl, head butting me in the forehead, purring so loud you can hear it in the next room, etc.

What a big cute faced thing she turned out to be!!

Huggable, loving lap cat :) Look at that expression. Not the first time the shelter said very feral and the cat was far from feral.

Very very soft and he's so shiny. That could be because whisky doesn't stop washing him.
