I've just noticed my 3 year old siamese's third eye lid in one of her eyes is showing and quite swollen
She's still energetic and affectionate, no problems with depth perception, but i was just wondering if i should be concerned? I can't get to a vets as i am in a small town and there is no actual vets. Please help?

Hello, so sorry about your kitty

I really think you need to try and have it looked at by some one, some how. I see your in Australia. Have you tried a google search for one you could possibly get to? If it's swollen she really needs vet attention.

Here's what I was able to come up with: https://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF...ralia&ei=HqL_UafaEPHa4APHyIDYCg&ved=0CLcBELYD

All the pink dots are vets. I hope this helps.

Thankyou :) there's a vet near (ish) to me but it's only open for about an hour a day, the swelling has gone down a little bit now
and the third eye lid has receded, she is on heat and rolls around a bit
so she probably just rolled over and banged her eye, but i will be taking her to a vets (somehow) tomorrow :)

Oh good!

Yes, even though you may think it's somewhat improved, a vet check is the best thing. You just don't know, you know? Keep us posted on how it goes.
