Saw my dentist Thursday and got the partial for the bottom (2 teeth). Now I feel I'm wired for sound. Felt a bit strange at first but took no time to get accustomed to it. Now I have a partial on top and on bottom. Is this the beginning - on my way to dentures someday!

Sad news was that I just found out that my dentist is moving to Portland OR. I really like him a lot and will miss him. His practice is being taken over in 2 weeks by a woman dentist. I really go to the hygienist more than the dentist, so hope she stays with the new owner. We had been travelling 2 hours to the east coast of FL for over 10 years to our cousin who is a dentist, and finally decided it was just crazy to make that trip and was happy to find this man I really liked a lot. Guess I can't travel to Portland, OR!

I have a top denture. I was wondering do you like a partial better than a denture ?

Since I haven't gotten a full denture (yet) I have no way of comparing. However, I had very little trouble getting used to the top partial and the same with the bottom one.
