Goodbye, my sweet boy!

He was the best, little kitty in the entire world and I miss him so much.  His health declined so rapidly and after numerous visits to the vet, I was told he had a stomach tumor.  He wasn't himself anymore...refusing to eat, losing weight, hiding under the bed.  I couldn't let him suffer any longer and held him while they gave him the shot.  It was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do.  He went from an overweight, defiant, adorable, snobby bugger....


to this sad, sickly baby...


He deserved so much better than this world.  I love you, Liberace and I'll never forget you

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. He was a beautiful boy. It is SO hard to goes through this. I know you've already read the post by Gareth. Ending Liberace's pain was the last decision you made for him, and he loves you for that.
 

My condolences. You gave him the last gift of love by letting him go peacefully. RIP, Liberace.

Holding the cat the whole time while they are put down is incredibly hard but I think it is worth it.  I am sorry for your loss.

My 23 year old female tabby passed away in June and I miss her so much.

Grief is the price we have to pay for love.

Thank you so much everyone.  It was so hard, but I know he's not suffering any longer.  I'll be in pain forever, but it was worth it so that he isn't.  RIP, my love!
