Probiotic for External Use Suggestions

I was reading a holistic book in which she used a combination of medication and nasal flushes with a probiotic as well as colloidal silver to get rid of the tricky pseudomonas infection and was wondering if anyone could suggest a brand to use of both probiotic and colloidal silver for use in the nose and not internally at all.

As far as the probiotic, I have never heard of using a probiotic externally.  What did the book recommend?  Did they say to use one that is normally ingested?  Otherwise, guess I would go to a Natural Health type of store and ask them .  That one's got me stumped.

BUT, do let us know how this works on the pseudomonus infection.  (how are you going to get it in his nose?)
