Good morning friends, at least it's still morning here!

What country have you never been to but would like to visit and why?

I'm not sure... trying to decide this for myself and thought maybe you guys could give me ideas.
I'd like to go to Australia (strange animals there) or New Zealand (so beautiful) or the Bahamas (relax and snorkel) or Iceland (Ice hotel). There are so many amazing places! I have to make sure I can eat the food in whatever country, I have problems with curries and strong smells are really off-putting for my appetite, so that puts a lot of places out of the running.

I want to visit:

Italy.  Why?  The FOOD duh.  Also, Vatican City is there and I want to go to the Catacombs and visit St Peters remains

Greece.  Why?  Food and history.

Germany:  Why?  I wanna tour the concentration camp remains.

Egypt:  Why?  To tour the biblical places.

Australia:  I also want to see the strange animals.

Ireland - I've been fascinated with Ireland from the time I was a little girl. I don't know why.

Rick wanted to take me to Ireland for two weeks for our 25th wedding anniversary, but I won't fly. I'll never get there.

India and surrounding areas - I want to see the places the Buddha lived and taught, it'd be a pilgrimage!

Japan - I enjoy watching anime and reading manga as well as eating the food from this country. I'm fascinated with the language and am slowly trying to learn. I will go there one day

Korea North and South - I just find it interesting

Russia - Chernobyl

Zimbabwe - friend that lives there and the Victoria Falls

Right here! :)
I would love to visit some country in Africa or Madagascar. For the scenery, exotic animals and the very different culture from what I am used to.

I've never been to any Asian countries outside of S. Korea and Japan. As for Europe, I've been to the more popular ones outside of Germany.

I was born in Canada and have only ever been to the US.

I can't think of any country that I would like to travel too though. I just don't have the travel bug.  For me I can look at pictures of a place and get the real feeling that I've been there so I don't really see a need to spend money on traveling to far away places.

Now, hypothetically, if someone were to insist I go on a big trip, it would have to be to Japan. I love everything about the culture from the art to the food and everything in between. I sometimes think that I was born in the wrong era and culture.
