H I'm Shannon. I took in a stray on June 12. We got lots of surprises with this cat. My initial choice to rescue a cat came from the desire to make the mice in the kitchen go away ;) I happened to find Isis the same day I made this decision. She's all white with blue eyes, never sits still for a decent pic though. It took me about four days to realize that she couldn't hear anything. I thought she was too calm in my chaotic house full of toddlers and dogs. And she's pregnant too. I posted in the pregnant forum as well because she is at the very end of "normal" in cat pregnancy length with what appears to be on and off labor. She will be having a c-section and be spayed tomorrow if she doesn't have the kittens by then. She had xrays yesterday and her kittens heads and her pelvic inlet is the exact same size so they either want her to go on her own today, or if she doesn't she's being delivered tomorrow. Her temp was 98.6 this morning but I won't get excited because she's done this before too. Unless she actually has them, I'm not getting excited.
Now I need to find homes her kitties. She has 5 confirmed, but there may be one hiding behind another kitten unless that kitten has two heads or moved when the X-ray was taken

Golly, you did get more than you bargained for!

Have you seen this article?:  http://www.thecatsite.com/a/the-deaf-cat

I'm glad you're chatting in the pregnancy forum as it's great to get support with the new arrivals.  Here's a big
for happy homes for them all.

And welcome to TCS!!

6 kittens arrived today, no c section. Everyone is resting. Once it started it went fairly quick I think.
