Awwww. . . I love frogs!!!

I once stopped my car to rescue a gigantic (two-hander) bullfrog from the middle of the road.

I think they are so sweet.
I was so worried that you were going to say that you had your wife kill it for you. Then I would have been very upset.

Now spiders, and bees (shivers). . . . . really creep me out.

I use a zinc nasal spray for colds. It's over the counter here and right now I can't remember the name of it because it's been so long since I had to use it!!
But it REALLY works! I have asthma too, so when I do get a cold, the symptoms are bad. When I use ZICAM (YAAAAAAY I REMEMBERED!!!) I hardly have any symptoms and the cold is gone 75% faster. The earlier you catch the cold, the faster Zicam works.
I agree!! I absolutely love Zicam! I use the swabs. . . . much more pleasant to use than the spray. My kids use it too.

The last time we shared a family cold. . . . my son & I used the Zicam right away and it only lasted a few days. My daughter who was away at college and didn't have the Zicam suffered for 2 weeks (she caught the cold from my son while home for the weekend).

I also get yearly flu shots (I work in a hospital.

WOW I'm shocked to find a fellow Zicam user. Usually when I tell people about it, they've never heard of it! I haven't seen the swabs. Are they new? Of course I haven't had to buy it for a couple of years. Anyway.... I swear by the stuff. It's a miracle maker!

I can't have flu shots. I'm allergic to eggs.

Yes, the swabs are fairly new.
I bought them a few months ago.
The first time I heard of Zicam was while listening to Delilah (radio show). Her personal experience using them and swearing by them convinced me to give them a try. It took me a few shopping trips to find them, but I think they are growing in popularity.

Skykitty - I did not get in until gone midnight as we took our son the 80 miles or so to see the blackpool illuminations - check them out on a search engine - mile after mile of lights.
Had a bad night with this cold and finally surfaced at 8.10. Came down and started reading the messages.
Was basking in the comments, I dont have a problem with spiders or other stuff - not fond of lizards but snakes are one thing that is a huge NO NO! I could tell you a couple of stories that you could put on a stage!!!!
Skykitty - so I get to read the mail relating to the frogs - then I read the bit about you sending me something and I thinks - how nice - what a lovely person.

Then a photo of a huge frog.

The sharp intake of breath, the skipped heart beat, the OH MY GOD and the decision that when I get to Canada next year - you and me are gonna have a drink and a little chat whilst I compose my own way to get my own back.... you are BAD BAD BAD.

Thanks anyway - really appreciated - like this head cold!

Hey - you are supposed to be lying in bed with a stiff drink and milking this cold of yours! What are you doing up at this time (oops.....it's 2:30AM my time - probably morning in the UK)?

Hey - what am I doing up at this time?!?!?!?!?!

You are right - its 8.39am here - sun up, son up, wife up, cat up, will possibly go and have a wee drive out today - if thats okay - treat my two loved ones to something. Then I can go for the sympathy vote in the house feeling sorry for myself. I hate colds more than anything else I get. I hate the fact that I have beaten meningitis twice, migraines etc etc etc and yet - can never beat a cold. As my better half said ...

Children get colds - men get flu - women - they get on with it!

How very true

ACHoooooooooooooooooooooo

what the hell are you doing up at this time anyway - have you not a bed to goto??

Kev, I couldn't resist what I did on here yesterday and last night but I also had some help by Hedi aka PurrfectCatLove she kind of egged me on!
I'm not saying that I didn't enjoy one single bit of it because I'm still literally ROFLMRCAO!

As for when you get to Toronto I do hope that you come up to where I live (it's about a 3 hour drive)! We can have drinks up here, but be forwarned we have lots of FROGS, TOADS & SNAKES up here!

Oh and Kev, I have even more pics of toads and snakes if you'd like to see them....even if you don't I think I'll send you a few pics that I've taken! So, I honestly think that you won't be able to get back at me!

As for your head cold I do sympathize with you. BTW, how's your profusely bloody nose?

LMAO!!! Sorry kev to laugh at your situation. I am sure it was more horrific to you than it was to us and your wife LOL! What is it with men and small things? My husband has a squeamish thing about cockroaches and leaves me to do the dirty work of killing it and removing it, yet this is suppose to be a big burly man hear him roar LOL! Anyway...I like frogs btw, they are cute in their own semi-slimeness factor. And they help get rid of some of the roaches

Ok I am sure he is as scared of me as I am of him - but the frog did not need a new pair of shorts after the meeting between us - I think I did!!!!
