I have officially gotten my first litter of kittens of the year (As if I didn't have enough on my plate)
Early this morning, I got a frantic call from someone a friend of mine works with. apparently they had been caring fr a pregnant stray, who had her kittens in a box on their porch yesterday evening, this morning my friends co-worker went out to check on the kittens and spotted the mother cat laying in the road a little way down the street, she had been hit.
Not wanting to take the kittens to their shelter because they would just be put down, they called me and I went to pick them up.
It's been *forever* since I've seen spotty kittens like the three of them, one of which is Identical to the mother.
These are by far the youngest kittens I've ever taken in, my cat Toby, nurturing soul that she is, has been helping me clean them and helping them go to the bathroom, her nipples have even started turning pink (she has been spayed) I'm not sure what's up with that though.
I LOVE spotty cats, and am going to have a hard time in not picking one to keep.
