Help!

I came home and found my 4 month old kitten/cat, Jarvis hurting!!  he is not walking correctly and he tucks his left leg way up -- No weight baring what so ever to that leg!  He is still eating / drinking and attempts to move around.  I have no idea if he's used the litter box or not ...  i did how ever recently purchase a 71 inch play tower...  i have no other pets. its obvious he's hurt -- he wont let you touch him by his hip - but both hip bones are equal / even when petting him down his spine.  The area does not feel warm - not does he feel like he has a fever. What should I do?  How can I help him?  Is there anything I can do for his pain?

Well if you just purchased a play tower he may have fell off and broke his leg though its rare for cats to break their legs, I'd take him to the vet if thats possible.
