I am currently fostering a cat that was found at my works parking lot. She seems very young, I'd guess around 5-6 months old and is pregnant. I have had her for a month now and she has been having diarrhea when ever the kittens move, not much just a dribble. I read that this is a good clue that they will be in labor soon but it has been 5 days of this. Kittens still appear to be moving but not as much. She doesn't seem distressed, although she is much crabbier with my dogs then usual. She has been getting kitten food for the time I have had her, and the last couple days my vet suggested pumpkin to help with her stools. I'm starting to worry that she is never going to have these kittens, my vet says she'll be fine but UGH I hate waiting.  These are some pictures of my girl on the 2nd day she was here:

It sounds like its nearing!  Just time for the last preparations!  I suppose you had read on, etc?

So she is friend with your dogs?   You do have her separated for now, or you reckon the dogs are so much mommy to her they may assist her in her difficult hours?

Normally, I would recommend to separate, even if they are friendly.  but some are known to be very helpsame. Both dogs and male cats...  These cases MAY be exceptions.

Keep on reporting and asking!

Good luck!

Welcome to our Forums!

Ps. I myself take a leave several days now, so I cant promise I personally will answer. But we do have several helpsame knowleable forumites, we have also other members of the team who promised to help out.

Still no kittens, the dogs are usually in the bedroom with Shayne or me and Abby gets the rest of the house. The only time their together is when I bring them to go outside. No panting, no distress. She just walks a little and lays on her side half way. She follows me everywhere, normal, but whenever I stop she lays down, been like this for a week now. she is huge, I'm guessing 3-4 kittens I know there's at least 2. You can see them up against her side every now and then. I am going nuts waiting.
