Finally another week has gone by and it's Friday!!! Wooohoooo!!!
So what is everyone's plans for tonight and the weekend?
Nada much, downing some coffee and finished eating my cocopuffs cereal
Slept relatively better than the other days, allergies weren't as wicked and I actually slept before 1:00am!!!

As for doing well there is just so much to do on the puter and around the house that I don't know where to start.
I guess I've already started on the puter!

Oooooh! Salsa dancing! How come we all didn't get invited to this TCS conference!

My parents will be in town for a wedding tomorrow so they will hang out at our house between the service and the reception. Other then that I have no idea what is up other then house work. I will watch Joan of Arcadia tonight - I loved the 1st episode.

Gweeky used my face last night as a spring board to the back of the couch. He actually scratched my cornea. I am in a lot of pain today, but it isn't infected or anything!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

I'm a terrible dancer - salsa looks fun, but I have NO coordination whatsoever...

I'm going to try to get at least part of my housecleaning done this evening - my niece is coming over later, which should be fun. I think we're going to watch Bend it like Beckham on DVD - I took her to it in the theater this summer and we both loved it.

I have to figure out dinner, too. I bought some really, truly free-range chickens last weekend from a guy with a small farm, so I might roast one of them. Simba would like that because he loves roast chicken and it doesn't seem to upset his tummy like the soft cat food does...

I'd better go get defrosting!

Hmmm . . . Alex and I are doing something tonight, not sure what, though . . . maybe salsa dancing at this club where he's friends with the owner . . .
I'm just happy I have 2 and a half days work- and school-free!

There's no place like home
Going to the Kansas City American Royal Barbeque tonight. All the smoked meats you can eat, salads, cookies, beer, lemonade and live music as far as the eye can see. There are hundreds of entrants in this contest - they set up tents, bring in their cookers, some hire bands or have music "themes" in their tents. It's a big eat, drink and dance fest that started yesterday and goes thru Sunday.

We're invited to a private party at the "Tom and Josh's BBQ Ribs" tent. Last year they did a disco theme - it will be interesting to see what they will do this year.

The chicken is roasting in the oven...

The kitchen and bathroom are scrubbed, and the wood floors are swept and ready to be polished in the morning...

Puppies, kitties, and fish have been fed, watered, petted, and played with...

Hubby's home from work, I got a hug and a kiss and an 'I love you'...

Hubby's hanging with the dogs, watching some TV and relaxing; I'm on the computer, kitty purring on my lap...

Just finished a wonderful book, have another one waiting. I have a whole bunch of fun sewing projects to work on, and a whole weekend ahead with no committments...

Life is good.

(OK, maybe not for the chicken...)

Ouch Ady! Get that eye checked out to be sure!

Busy day. Got a loan for a new car as our one is falling apart. Hopefully it will stop hubby talking about cars alllllll the time. It drives me nuts! I am not keen on the loan, but better than nothing. Then off to Walmart to get some things like soap etc, cant have me stinking up the town.

And bought a new heater, I am paranoid about using a gas heater at night because I can smell gas when using it. So using gas during the day and electric at night. Besides the cats will keep us warm

Went to the gym, my legs are hurting so bad because my pump instructor and I worked one on one as no one else turned up for the class and so she worked me extra hard. Strange thing is, I liked it.

Just got home from eating a mexican dinner

Yeah, I knew that didn't make much sense when I typed it, but left it anyway...

I'm just having a contented evening, which is so nice. I usually find something to stress out or worry about, and tonight I'm just enjoying my life and am very relaxed and happy...

Movin' on up!
Got home, to find out that the bank had straightened out my account. THAT was a load off! I don't mind Bill having to buy the groceries but, I hate to ask him to buy my cigarettes. I always pay him back and he doesn't nag me about quitting but I feel guilty asking him.

Picked up pastrami sandwiches, for dinner. Neither of us felt like killin' or cookin' anything.
