Need Your Prayers

I have mentioned my friend Robyn a number of times. She is Max's kitty sitter while I'm away. She found out yesterday that she has breast cancer. I cried with her on the phone last night. I told her if she needed someone to go with her to appointments, sit with her or just listen - I'm her gal. She and her husband have 4 boys and she works and takes care of her family. I hope they will help with the load at home. Please say some prayers for her quick recovery.

Thanks for praying and sending good thoughts. She is so important to me - a kindred spirit. I know they have made huge advancements in the research and treatment of breast cancer, but I know she will be going down a tough path. I know my job will be to encourage her and keep her upbeat and laughing. She is my best audience, after all.

My grandmother had breast cancer but they found it too late to save her. Hopefully Robyn gets the treatment in time.

Robyn goes in for surgery on Thursday. She will also have to have cemo and radiation treatments.

Today Robyn goes in the hospital for a lumpectomy. I will go see her after work and bring her some flowers. Please say prayers that the Dr. is able to get it all. She will still have to go through cemo (sp) and radiation. She insists she still wants to babysit Max the first two weekends in November. At first I told her absolutely not, but I got to thinking - my house is nice and quiet and when you don't feel well, Max is very cuddly. She has 4 sons, 3 dogs and a husband. My house will probably feel like sanctuary.
