How old is your kitten and how long have you had them? Has anything like this ever happened before?

It definitely does sound like dehydration may be a part of the problem. When you pull on the skin at the back of the neck (the scruff) what happens? In a healthy kitten it should snap back into place. If it is slow to go down or "tents" then she is definitely dehydrated and may need SubQ fluids.

It is also possible that your kitten is just tired and in a deep sleep. If she played really hard today she may just be totally zonked out. I have seen kittens so deep in sleep that they will fall off of something only to keep snoozing away.

That said, you should err on the side of caution. If she still seems at all lethargic tomorrow or is showing signs of dehydration call the vet as soon as they open and get her in. It's better to have her seen and check out fine than have it be serious and left untreated.

Vibes that it is nothing serious. Please let us know what the vet says!

Hey! I'm happy to report rocket is doing wonderful! He will b 5 weeks on Thursday! I've had him since he was a week old. The mother cat abandoned him and we've been bottle feeding ever since... nothing like yesterday has ever happened before so we were worried but about an hour after i posted he started getting better. I had been giving him the pedialite every ten mins and after an hour giving him chicken baby food watered down in a bottle. By 11 last night he was almost back to normal and today he's full of energy. I'm so thankful he's ok thanks for the advice
