Hey...i have a kitten that was about four weeks old Thursday. I have had him since he was about a week old, he was abandoned in a thunder storm. So i have been feeding him kitten formula in a bottle. But lately i have been trying to get him to drink out of a bowl and he wont do it... I've also been trying to get him to eat wet food and no luck with that either. What should i do? I know he s not getting as full as before bc he's always hungry and he attacks the bottle and my hand it seems when i go to feed him! Should i try dry food? I am really at a loss and love my kitten, i wanna do whats right for him.

Four weeks is still a little young for solids.  Don't try dry food for sure - he's way too young for that.  Actually, dry is not the best option for any age.

Can you feed him more often?  He sounds like he might be getting hungry between feedings.  You might try adding some chicken baby food (Gerber, stage 2, no onions) to the formula.  You may have to slit the nipple a little.  Don't make it too thick.

Keep offering him the wet food diluted with the formula on a flat plate.  He will be very messy at first but he will get the hang of it soon enough.

You've gotten him past the worst part - bottle feeding is never easy!
