only advice is if you're gonna feed him canned food, stick to one brand and one flavor otherwise it might be too much for his little tummy to take, my kitten had bad tummy troubles til I took her off of canned completely like my vet recommended

Friskies pate is a decent brand as is Fancy Feast Classic; Authority WET food is also a good brand.

How old is your kitten/cat?  Any health problems?

Dry food is made up of a lot of carbohydrates (which no cats need), and not much fat or protein (which cats need).  Note I said need not want; cats may want to eat your sandwich, but they don't need to! :)

Actually, you should rotate foods so your cats don't get addicted (I use that word loosely!) to one flavor/brand; what were to happen if that brand/flavor were discontinued or -- worse -- recalled?  Because there are more by products and additives in dry food, sometimes dry food causes stomach problems in cats, more so than wet food.

Here is an article about cats and nutrition.  And www.catinfo.org is a good site--written by a vet.
